Hello! My name is Mallika, and I'm am a fourth year student from Central Illinois studying Flute Performance and Neuroscience. Besides PPMP, I am involved in AMASE (Academy for Music and Arts in Special Education), and previously I have been involved with Sigma Alpha Iota (women's music fraternity), Symphony of Evanston, Dance Marathon, and was a Peer Adviser for the Class of 2020 and 2021. In my free time, I enjoy napping, concerts, coffee shops, and running. Can’t wait to meet my new mentees, and, as always, go 'cats!

Hey guys! My name is Hong Lin and I am a Senior in Weinberg studying Biological Sciences. Other than NU PPMP, I am involved in several student organizations such as Chinatown Health Initiative, Campus Kitchens, and Autism Speaks U. I also enjoy conducting basic science research and volunteering in hospital emergency departments. In my free time, I enjoy playing the violin, listening to classical music, playing badminton, going fishing, and attending events with free food. Premed can be a difficult journey and I look forward to helping some of you navigate this process.

Hi! I am a fourth year from from Buffalo Grove, IL, a suburb of Chicago, and I am studying Biology and Psychology, I love to travel, eat/cook great food, and watch movies. At Northwestern, I am currently the Vice President of Northwestern’s Club Tennis Team, a physics tutor, and involved in MiniChefz and Symphony of Evanston. This past summer, I worked in a lab that studied the correlation between brown adipose tissue, acclimation to cold, and metabolic health. I am very excited to be a mentor and to be more involved in the pre-med community here at Northwestern.

On campus, some of my involvement includes being a Peer Adviser, Chinese Student Association, NU Active Minds and being a GSW tutor! I’ve previously volunteered at the Northshore Evanston Hospital and am currently conducting research. When I have free-time, I can be found reading or doing yoga, and I’m a puppy and food enthusiast!
